Dr. Sunanda Biswas, M.Sc, Ph.D, is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Food and Nutrition of Acharya Prafulla Chandra College affiliated by West Bengal State University. She has about 13 yrs teaching experience and more than 17 years research and extension experience. She published more than 30 research papers and chapters in different National and International Journals and attended different conferences and presented research papers in different National and International Seminars. Dr. Biswas also organized different seminars at National level as well as delivered lectures as Resource Person in national level Winter school, TOT programs. She is recipient of International Travel Grant from UGC.
Dr. Biswas holds various professional and scientific committee membership. She has published 2 books. She is potential reviewer of different indexed journals. She has been actively engaged in community nutrition and public health research. She is also acting as Programme Officer of National Service Scheme of her institute. She received Young Woman in Science award by Venus International Foundation, Chennai in 2018, Ambedkar Social Service Award from Indian Academic Researchers Association in 2019, Best NSS Programme Officer award for the year 2020-21 from West Bengal State University, Best NSS Programme Officer Award for the year 2018-19 from Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal and Swami Vivekananda Social Service Award 2021-22 by Indian Academic Researchers’ Association (IARA). |
