Biography |
To introduce myself, my name is Dr. Nithar Ranjan Madhu, and I was born on January 13th, 1976 in the state of West Bengal, specifically in the district of North 24 Parganas and the village of Chikanpara, inside the Thakurnagar Post Office. Since I was a young child, I have always had a great desire to acquire new knowledge. Following the conclusion of my academic pursuits, I made the decision to embark on a career as an educator. Since the 5th of February in 2015, I have been employed at Acharya Prafulla Chandra College in the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology. I also worked as an Assistant Professor at Bajkul Milani Mahavidyalaya in Purba Medinipur from September 8, 2006 till February 4, 2015, during which time I was there. In addition to my work as a teacher, I am also involved in a variety of activities that are geared toward the improvement of the community and the social environment. While I am here at our College, I am also acting as the NSS Programme Officer (II). I continue to be persistent in my opinion that education has the potential to lead to improvements in society. |
Academic Interest |
The majority of my academic interests are focused on the investigation of melatonin hormones, phytochemicals, and medicinal plants that are utilized in everyday life. It is the fields of genetics, molecular biology, immunology, and endocrinolgy that I find to be the most absolutely intriguing. In addition, I have a strong desire to learn about and investigate a wide range of environmental issues, including but not limited to climate change, the conservation of biodiversity, and the management of resources in a sustainable manner. The resolution of environmental issues is something that I am deeply committed to, and I am particularly fascinated by the ways in which human actions impact the natural world. My objective is to promote the advancement of knowledge on the medicinal characteristics of herbs and to provide support for initiatives that would, in the long run, be of service to our people. |
