Biography A rank-holder in higher academics all along, Pratick--a former Research Assistant in an ICSSR Project at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) at IIT Kharagpur--teaches Political Science in this college as an Assistant Professor. At present, he is pursuing Ph.D. at Tata Institute of Social Sciences. He is also currently engaged in a one-year Research Project on Matuas under the Research & Development Cell of this college, formed under NEP 2020. His articles are already published under SINGLE AUTHORSHIP in high-profile journals indexed in SCOPUS / Web of Science / UGC-CARE List. In 2022, Pratick authored a book related to the political historiography of the middle class society in British Bengal through eight stalwart middle class Bengalees. Currently, he is waiting for his solo-edited volume broadly focused on contemporary Indian politics, to be published by Routledge (London & New York) very soon.
